Did any of you ever do this as a kid? I remembered doing this at ALL picnics. I still love olives. The other night as I was fixing tacos I stuck these olives on Lucy's fingers to keep her entertained while I finished making dinner. All my kids love olives. It is one of the few foods we can all agree on. Too bad they aren't a top five food. I wonder if the kids really like the taste or if they just enjoy the way they can eat them?

that is so funny. i think every single one of US (well maybe except eric) dislikes this nasty black things. they may be fun to play with but they sure taste like dirt (as ruby says).

See, Grandpa Richard has olives at almost all meals so we have all mastered the olive fingers. James likes to put them on his fingers and then let someone else eat them.

Nasty!!! I hate them. But you knew that. Sarah and I had a roommate that made olive sandwiches with mayonnaise. It looked like a dead fly sandwich. Disgusting.
Yum Yum Yum. I love olives. Its in my blood. Drake loves them too. He could eat them for every meal. Thanks, Grandpa Richard! (ps Chris has converted to the taste since being a part of the family).

I love that post by "superstore". Anyway, I haven't put olives on my fingers for a while, but I still eat them on a weekly basis. My son loves olives, but he doesn't put them on his fingers. Have I failed?
